Joe Allegro

Joseph (Joe) Allegro co-founded Blue Chip Equities in 2022, bringing with him a wealth of experience in commercial real estate, finance, and investment strategy. Before launching Blue Chip, Joe honed his skills at Sitar Company, where he managed over a dozen real estate investments and spearheaded efforts to better understand and navigate the commercial real estate market. His tenure at Sitar inspired his focus on investment opportunities, leading to the formation of several successful small investment groups.

Joe’s strong foundation in finance stems from his role as an equity and derivatives trader at Goldman Sachs, where he served as Vice President in the Equity Department. During his tenure, Joe held a seat on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and was part of the pioneering team that introduced exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to the NYSE. Consistently ranked in the top 10% for revenue production from 2007 to 2009, Joe demonstrated expertise in analyzing income statements, creating valuation models, identifying market trends, and making data-driven investment decisions.

At Sitar, Joe expanded his financial acumen to include leadership in a department focused on Property and Casualty, Health, Life, and Title insurance products. These experiences, combined with his financial modeling and risk assessment skills, enable Joe to identify and capitalize on commercial investment opportunities across diverse asset classes quickly and effectively.

Currently, Joe is a licensed New Jersey Real Estate Broker and Insurance Agent, holding certifications in multiple lines of business. His commercial real estate portfolio spans approximately 400 apartment units, retail spaces, and industrial land, reflecting his deep commitment to enhancing property value and delivering strong returns for his clients and partners.

In addition to his professional achievements, Joe serves on Coastal Carolina University’s Financial Advisory Board, where he helps shape the future of the university’s financial programs and initiatives. A proud alumnus, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Coastal Carolina University and continues to apply his expertise to foster growth and success for Blue Chip Equities and its clients.
